The Aji Largo Rocoto is not your everyday pepper variety; it is a rare Capsicum pubescens known for its distinctive features and robust flavor.
With thick, juicy walls and striking black seeds that contrast vibrantly, this pepper is as visually appealing as it is flavorful. Its heat level provides a spicy kick that targets the throat, making it memorable for culinary enthusiasts and heat lovers alike.
Rocoto peppers thrive in cooler climates. However, we got several rocoto varieties to grow fairly well in the Georgia heat, purposely positioning each to only receive morning sun. All of our rocoto varieties produced better in the fall weather though.
