Rebec Valley Farm Seed Donation Program

Community Garden Photo

At Rebec Valley Farm, we pride ourselves in helping others with all that we can, when we can—whether locally or throughout the US—by donating seeds from our previous year's inventory to non-profit 501(c) organizations, such as small schools, summer camps, community gardens, and food banks. We admire organizations that bring people together to promote healthy, locally grown food, so others, regardless of age, can learn to achieve long-term food stability and self-sufficiency in their communities.

Please understand that we are a small farm business and receive countless donation requests. We simply do not have the staff, inventory, or resources to provide a donation for every request like some big seed companies and corporations do.

When we give, we strive to be fair and give to those who seem to need the most help first; we also try to spread the goodwill and include as many non-profits as we can in the program each year.

As a result, our donations tend to be modest to help as many non-profits as we can. If your donation request only focuses on specifically named varieties from our online catalog or if the goal of the request is to obtain large quantity seed amounts in general, we likely won't be able to accommodate.

As such, at this time, we do not provide donations to designated public or private seed banks or well-established seed libraries.
